At Bakersfield Upholstery, we have handled just about every type of upholstery project you can think of. From repairing rips, burns, cuts, or other damage to fabric, vinyl, or leather; to custom upholstery. We can make your damaged furniture upholstery look like new again.

Bakersfield Upholstery is locally owned and operated by Melissa Kelley. Melissa’s commitment to quality and her eye for detail have become hallmarks of her work that can be seen in many homes and local businesses throughout Kern County. We are here to help make your forgotten furniture unforgettable.

Restoration Philosophy
We have an unwavering philosophy of caring for furniture. We respect and preserve as much of any original piece as possible. We believe and understand that most furniture is important and has great sentimental value. So, when they’re looking a little sickly, our philosophy is to never let them perish. We work to revive—don’t replace—by breathing new life into worn down furniture pieces.
